Mounting is a process in which printed material (such as a poster or graphic) is permanently adhered to a rigid substrate such as cardboard, KAPA board, PVC or paperboard. This gives the print greater rigidity, durability and a more presentable appearance. This technique is often used for advertising boards, exhibition panels or design packaging. Mounting can be complemented by lamination for even greater surface durability.
