Lamination

Are you looking for an attractive finish for your printed materials that will also increase their mechanical resistance? Then we at postpress.cz definitely recommend lamination. A simple and affordable way to give your advertising prints visual appeal and extend their life.

What lamination is...

Boxes, business cards, price tags, labels, flyers, various catalogues, swatch books, packaging. Lamination can be used for all these printed materials, most often in glossy, matt or velvet versions. At PostPress.cz we focus on lamination up to B2 format. Lamination is a technology in which a polypropylene or polyester film is applied to the surface of the printed material. The whole process takes place in a semi-automatic machine where the film is activated on the roll by pressure and heat and then adheres to the paper surface. You will find both sheet and roll laminators here.

We laminate traditionally and for pocket-sized formats

Laminating can be done on one or both sides. It depends on the specific application. Structured lamination, velvet lamination, coloured foils or matt or glossy variants - this is our domain. Thanks to this technology, frequently used business cards or menus last much longer.

Efficiently or with a touch of luxury

If you want to make an impression, opt for matt foil, which dominates the current trends. Laminated prints with a matt effect give the impression of luxury and respectability. If you're printing boldly coloured brochures to boost sales, glossy foil is ideal.

5 reasons to laminate

  • Protection from damage
Lamination prevents mechanical damage to your printed materials. In turn, they will gain in durability and retain their original appearance for longer.
  • Increased visual appeal
Capture attention, brighten colours, enhance contrast and give a more sophisticated impression. Your printed materials can do it all with one technology.
  • Easy maintenance
Laminated materials are easy to clean. You'll especially appreciate this for those that are exposed to daily wear and tear.
  • Longer life and financial savings
By minimising damage and wear, materials last longer. So they continue to fulfil their purpose and save you money.
  • Possibility of outdoor use
High-quality lamination protects your printed materials even when used outdoors and mitigates the effects of adverse weather conditions.
